Job summary

Provides nursing care to specific patient groups, implements medical regimens prescribed by physicians, and participates in nursing practice development and problem resolution in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Participate in developing and evaluating nursing practices in the clinical setting and contribute to the overall function of the clinical area. Plan and provide nursing care for a specific patient group, deliver physician-prescribed medical regimens, and help identify and resolve nursing practice and unit problems.

Qualifications

Graduation from a state-approved professional nursing school or college is required, along with a BSN; an MSN is preferred. A current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification are required.
