Job summary

Fabricate and assemble steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications, using metalworking machines such as hydraulic presses, rolls, shears, cutting torches, grinders and drills. Ensure safety and quality standards are met in a full-time, permanent role at a leading ship-repair complex in Falmouth.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble steel and aluminium components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Operate metalworking machinery such as hydraulic presses, shears, and cutting torches while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a steelworker or fabricator and familiarity with welding techniques are required. Candidates must be able to read technical drawings and commit to strict health and safety protocols.
