Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department assesses, plans, executes, and evaluates patient care, communicates with the healthcare team, and documents patient assessments and care plans. Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing, current Pennsylvania RN license, and BLS; ACLS is preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive patient care within the Emergency Department. This includes documenting clinical data, managing risk factors, and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team for discharge planning.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in nursing and a current Pennsylvania state RN license are required. Candidates must have or obtain BLS and ACLS certifications, with previous acute care or ER experience preferred.
