Job summary

The role involves developing and managing airworthiness certification plans for developmental and production aircraft, including supporting Flight Releases, Type Certification, and FAA airspace integration. Responsibilities include technical planning, requirements analysis, certification activities, and ensuring compliance throughout the product lifecycle, with a focus on U.S. defense aircraft and UAVs.

Responsibilities

You will develop and author airworthiness certification plans for developmental and production aircraft while managing relationships with technical authorities and customer partners. Additionally, you will guide design development toward compliance and maintain airworthiness activities within a digital environment.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and possess at least 8 years of experience in airworthiness engineering. Proficiency with DoW and FAA processes, as well as the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance, is required.
