Job summary

Seeking a highly skilled Principal Safety Engineer to define and develop safety frameworks for humanoid robots operating in complex, unstructured human environments, focusing on hazard identification, risk mitigation, and safety architecture innovation.

Responsibilities

The Principal Safety Engineer will define safety frameworks for humanoid robots and identify hazards across hardware, software, and AI behaviors. You will lead the development of safety architectures and validation strategies to ensure safe interaction between robots and humans in real-world environments.

Qualifications

Candidates must have deep experience in robotics safety, AI-enabled systems, and complex electromechanical design. A strong background in safety innovation, functional safety methods, and systems engineering is required to solve novel safety challenges.
