Job summary

A Senior Patient Access Officer manages daily operations within the patient access department at a hospital, supervises staff, ensures excellent administrative and financial services, and supports patient queries and scheduling.

Responsibilities

The Senior Patient Access Officer will supervise daily operational functions and assist the Patient Access Leader in developing high-quality, customer-responsive services. Responsibilities include managing patient waiting areas, overseeing staff rotas, and ensuring administrative tasks meet exemplary standards.

Qualifications

Communication Customer Service IT Literacy Medical Terminology Numeracy Supervisory Skills

Candidates must have previous experience in a patient access or similar role, along with proven supervisory experience. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are mandatory due to the site's location.
