Job summary

Experienced registered nurse responsible for providing inpatient medical care to adult and geriatric patients on a 32-bed telemetry unit, managing various diagnoses and procedures, including emergency interventions, assessments, and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

Provide scheduled and emergent nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a 32-bed general medical unit with telemetry. Care for patients with a range of conditions, including COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, withdrawal, abdominal pain, altered mental status, osteomyelitis, diabetes, and cellulitis.

Qualifications

Acute Care BLS Inpatient Care Nursing Patient Care Telemetry

Applicants must hold a Delaware RN license or a compact nursing license, have at least one year of acute-care or sub-acute-care experience, and hold current BLS certification. A BSN is required, or the nurse must commit to obtaining one within three years of hire.
