Job summary

The Senior Staff Software Engineer will lead the architecture of Tide's agentic platform, focusing on creating shared capabilities for AI systems such as context management, orchestration, trust controls, observability, and evaluation. The role involves defining platform standards, making build versus buy decisions, integrating external components, and ensuring safety, reliability, and scalability while leading cross-team technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

You will lead the architecture of the agentic platform, defining shared capabilities for AI systems including orchestration, tool execution, and observability. You will also partner with cross-functional teams to set standards for reliability, safety, and scalability while optimizing LLM spend.

The role requires deep experience in building platform or infrastructure systems at scale and strong judgment across distributed systems and cloud-native architecture. A track record of leading complex cross-team technical problems and experience in highly regulated industries is highly desirable.
