Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Senior Product Data Scientist to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams to inform decision-making through data analysis, forecasting, optimization, and deep dive analysis for long-term vehicle allocation, investment, and growth planning.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide long-term decisions on vehicle allocation, capital investment, and growth planning. Develop forecasting and optimization models to measure investment impact and optimize infrastructure across markets.

Qualifications

causal inference communication data pipeline development forecasting ML optimization algorithm product management collaboration Python SQL stakeholder management

Requires at least 3 years of industry experience with proficiency in Python, SQL, and data pipeline development. Candidates should have experience in ML, causal inference, and optimization algorithms, along with strong stakeholder management skills.
