Job summary

Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the oncology department, utilizing the nursing process, maintaining compliance, and guiding unlicensed personnel while focusing on patient safety and quality care for a diverse patient group.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients by planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans. Guide unlicensed nursing personnel and ensure regulatory compliance to promote high-quality patient experiences and safety outcomes.

Qualifications

BLS/CPR chemotherapy clinical supervision immunotherapy nursing care nursing process oncology patient assessment patient safety regulatory compliance

Requires a current Illinois Nursing License and BLS/CPR certification, with a BSN degree and one year of experience preferred. Candidates must obtain an ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate within nine months of hire.
