Job summary

Registered Nurse-Oncology at Northwestern Medicine provides direct patient care, collaborates with healthcare team members, develops and implements individualized care plans, evaluates patient responses, and utilizes evidence-based practices in a hospital setting. Requires BSN, RN license in Illinois, BLS, and strong interpersonal and analytic skills.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate nursing care for acutely ill inpatients, including assessment, care planning, interventions, and evaluation of outcomes. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other care team members, document care, and use evidence to guide practice.

Qualifications

ACLS assessment Basic Life Support Care Planning Collaboration Communication Nursing PALS/ENPC & TNCC Patient Care Research

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, an active Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license, Basic Life Support, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate. Experience in the specific clinical area is preferred.
