Job summary

Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient care, clerical duties, and medical procedures in a multispecialty healthcare setting. Responsible for preparing examination rooms, documenting patient information, collecting vital signs, and maintaining supplies. Communicate effectively with patients, ensure safety protocols, and support care transitions.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians, PAs, or NPs with clerical duties, patient flow, and direct patient care procedures. They also manage examination room preparation, documentation in the EHR, and facilitate transitions of care.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a high school diploma and have graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire, along with 0-1 years of related work experience.
