Job summary

Registered Nurse position in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Cleveland Clinic, responsible for providing direct patient care, implementing care plans, monitoring patient conditions, evaluating outcomes, and educating patients and families in a high-acuity critical care environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and evidence-based perioperative management for high-acuity surgical patients. Implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate discharge needs within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

ACLS Certification Assessment Critical Care Discharge Planning Medication Administration Monitoring Nursing Patient Care Patient Education

Requires a nursing degree (ADN or BSN), current RN licensure, and BLS certification, with ACLS required within the first year. Candidates must have at least one year of current acute care RN experience.
