Job summary

The Purchasing Associate manages purchase orders, vendor communication, and documentation in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment, focusing on accurate, timely processing of purchasing activities and supporting administrative functions.

Responsibilities

Process and maintain purchase orders, purchasing records, vendor and item information, and related documentation accurately and on time. Track open orders, communicate with vendors and internal teams, resolve discrepancies, and escalate recurring issues in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

Attention to Detail Customer Service Data Entry Documentation ERP Systems Inventory Management Logistics Microsoft Office Order Processing Vendor Communication

A high school diploma or GED is required, while an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred; prior experience in purchasing support or a related transactional field is also preferred. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, accurate data-entry skills, organizational and communication abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn ERP, inventory, and purchasing systems.
