Responsibilities

Nurses on the Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCC) care for patients with serious neurological conditions such as brain injury, aneurysms, and severe strokes, providing 24/7 customized and monitored treatments in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. This role involves caring for some of the highest acuity neuro patients in the state, requiring dedication to excellence and teamwork to advocate for the best possible patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Assessment Care Prioritization Critical Thinking Neurological Assessment

Candidates must possess an Associates of Nursing (ASN), with a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred, and hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an NLC license. A nationally accredited nursing program graduation is required, though exceptions exist for those with over two years of acute care experience, and Basic Life Support (AHA) certification is mandatory.
