Job summary
The Patient Care Technician supports patient needs and monitors health and vital signs under nurse supervision, maintaining safety and cleanliness in patient areas. Requires high school diploma, relevant experience or training, and certification such as BLS.
Responsibilities
Follow direction from registered nurses while maintaining a safe, clean environment in patient rooms and service areas. Assist licensed personnel with basic patient needs and monitor patients’ health and vital signs.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with one of the listed pathways: relevant aide experience, completion of a nurse aide or patient care technician course, or one clinical semester in an LPN/RN program.
