Job summary

Lead and manage data engineering initiatives by designing scalable data platforms, architects, mentors, and oversees cloud environments ensuring reliable, compliant, and innovative data solutions. Collaborates with leadership and cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business goals.

Responsibilities

The Manager of Data Engineering will lead the data engineering team to design and architect scalable, high-performance data platforms while setting the strategic vision for data initiatives. They will also manage stakeholder relationships, mentor team members, and ensure the reliability and quality of data pipelines through automation and monitoring.

Qualifications

Apache tools Cloud computing platforms Cloud data architectures Data architecture Data modeling Data platform design Leadership Middleware and event streaming Programming languages: Python, Java, Scala SQL & NoSQL databases

Candidates must have at least 8 years of leadership experience in data engineering or architecture and a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS and Snowflake, along with strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, is mandatory.
