Job summary

Provides direct nursing care during vascular access procedures, assisting physicians, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations in a per diem capacity.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing care before, during, and after vascular access procedures, including patient assessment, monitoring, education, medication administration, IV insertion, and emergency response. Supports quality improvement, accurate medical records, regulatory compliance, equipment and supply readiness, and effective coordination with physicians and facility staff.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, current state RN licensure, and ACLS certification; a high school diploma is required, while an associate degree is desirable and a bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. Four to six years of related experience is preferred, along with proficiency in IV insertion, cardiac rhythm recognition, computers, and medical database software; BLS and ACLS course certifications are also specified.
