Job summary

A field-based maintenance engineer supports multiple facilities by performing fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance of automated equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational performance across sites. The role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, supporting projects, and supervising contractors.

Responsibilities

The engineer will perform proactive and reactive maintenance on automated equipment across multiple sites to ensure operational efficiency and safety. They will also manage spare parts inventory, supervise contractors, and lead capital projects to support site reliability.

Qualifications

Automation Electrical Engineering Drawings Fault Diagnosis Maintenance Mechanical PLC Preventive Maintenance Safety Troubleshooting

Candidates must possess a strong electrical bias with a Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance. Experience in fast-paced, safety-critical, or automated environments and a full UK driving licence are required.
