Job summary

As a hospice aide, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care that helps patients remain comfortable and maintain dignity throughout their end-of-life journey. You will assist with personal care, mobility, activities of daily living, support nutrition, provide homemaking support, help patients maintain independence, and observe and report changes. You will care for patients at their homes or facilities, traveling as needed, under supervision, with preferred experience and certification depending on state.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to hospice patients in their homes or facilities to ensure comfort and dignity. Observe and report changes in patient conditions to the registered nurse while assisting with daily living activities.

Qualifications

Requires approved hospice aide, home health aide, or nurse aide training and competency. One year of direct patient care experience is preferred, and the ability to travel within the assigned service area is mandatory.
