Job summary

Waymo seeks an experienced Vehicle Interior Engineer responsible for developing and guiding vehicle interiors, including trim and NVH components, using CAD tools and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to optimize design, cost, and quality for autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities

You will lead the development and design of vehicle interior components including hard and soft trim using 3D CAD and Catia V6. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to manage material selection, cost strategies, and production tooling launches.

Qualifications

Benchmarking CAD/ Catia V6 Design/Layout Creation Interior Trim Components Knowledge Interior Trim Development Material Selection Problem Solving during Vehicle Launch Supplier Interaction and DFM Vehicle Assembly Strategies Vehicle Interior Development

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in interior trim development and a proven track record of launching vehicles into production. Strong expertise in CAD, tooling strategies, and cross-functional collaboration with studio and supply teams is required.
