The plant Electrician supports the maintenance team by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and PLC systems for industrial production lines, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include fault finding, preventative maintenance, wiring, schematics updates, and equipment setup, requiring experience in industrial electrical systems and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

The electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed industrial process equipment and PLC logic controls. They will perform preventative maintenance and ensure efficient equipment operation by diagnosing malfunctions and updating wiring schematics.

Qualifications

Candidates must have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and hold a minimum of an Electrical NVQ Level 3 qualification. Proficiency in electrical systems, wiring, and the ability to use testing equipment is essential for this role.
