Job summary

The role involves providing comprehensive patient-centered care as an experienced RN in the ICU, utilizing nursing processes, patient education, discharge planning, and collaboration within healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective treatment while respecting patient diversity and cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

The nurse provides patient- and family-centered care by utilizing the nursing process to address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients. They also collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality care while participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

assessment and diagnosis communication cultural competence discharge planning evidence-based practice health information documentation medication administration patient care patient education teamwork and collaboration

Candidates must hold a specialized diploma or degree from an accredited school of nursing and possess an active RN license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and at least one year of acute care experience is strongly preferred.
