Job summary

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) provides perioperative nursing care for orthopedic surgeries, coordinates patient care, supports patients emotionally and physically, manages supplies, follows safety protocols, and collaborates with the surgical team.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care to orthopedic surgery patients by assessing conditions, executing care plans, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. They are also responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, managing surgical supplies, and ensuring safe transitions of care.

Qualifications

BLS care planning clinical assessment EHR proficiency emotional support HIPAA compliance infection control orthopedic procedures patient care supply management

Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse license, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and BLS certification. A minimum of one year of operating room experience with orthopedic procedures is required.
