Job summary

The Field Service Engineer at ABB is responsible for executing low to medium complexity service work on electrical equipment, troubleshooting, and delivering customer service. The role requires qualified electrical skills, leadership, and communication abilities, with a focus on installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical switchgear.

Responsibilities

Execute service, maintenance, installation, and commissioning activities for LV and MV electrical solutions in accordance with safety and quality standards. Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with customers to improve operational performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Communication Skills Customer Relations Electrical Engineering Installation & Maintenance MV/LV Switchgear IT Skills Leadership MV Protection Relays Service & Maintenance Testing and Commissioning

Requires a qualified electrician or electrical engineer with at least 5 years of experience in MV/LV switchgear maintenance and installation. Candidates must possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, a clean driving license, and proficiency in English.
