Job summary

Seeking a Staff Structural Engineer to work on the development of Omen, an autonomous hover-to-cruise air vehicle. Responsibilities include performing structural analyses, developing FEM models, collaborating with hardware engineers, conducting validation testing, and participating in flight tests. Requires advanced engineering expertise, proficiency in FEA software and CAD tools, and the ability to operate independently.

Responsibilities

Perform static and dynamic structural analyses of composite and metallic components using FEA and first principles. Collaborate with hardware engineers to drive design decisions and support validation and flight testing.

Qualifications

Abaqus ANSYS CAD (NX, Solidworks) Composite Materials Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Matlab Metallic Materials NASTRAN Python Structural Analysis

Requires a BS or higher in engineering or applied physics with deep knowledge of structural mechanics and testing. Candidates must be proficient in FEA software, CAD tools, and programming languages like Python or Matlab.
