Job summary

Registered Nurse in Medical/Surgical department providing patient care from admission to discharge, coordinating with healthcare team, supervising staff, and managing a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse plans and provides professional nursing care from admission to discharge while coordinating with physicians and other disciplines. They are also responsible for supervising patient care technicians and support assistants to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.

Qualifications

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa. Proficiency in nursing standards, BLS and ACLS certifications, and the ability to operate medical equipment are required.
