Job summary

The Clinical Assessor will evaluate how health conditions impact daily living through structured assessments, produce detailed reports, and support benefit decision making for the Department for Work and Pensions. Requires healthcare professional registration and clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct structured clinical assessments to evaluate how health conditions impact daily living for benefit claimants. Produce detailed, evidence-based reports to support DWP decisions via face-to-face, video, or telephone consultations.

Qualifications

Analytical Skills Clinical Assessment Communication Skills Condition Evaluation Empathy IT Skills Observation Report Writing Reporting

Must be an NMC registered Nurse or HCPC registered Paramedic, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist with a valid PIN. Requires at least one year of post-registration experience and the ability to produce high-quality written reports.
