Seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Scientific System of Record Team to develop AI-driven scientific platform components such as user interfaces, APIs, databases, and systems that support scientific analytics and laboratory workflows. Requires expertise in front-end and back-end development, database management, cloud and infrastructure services, with a focus on performance, reliability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop high-performance user interfaces, APIs, and scalable database architectures for an AI-driven scientific platform. Collaborate with ML researchers and scientists to integrate data pipelines and cloud infrastructure into laboratory workflows.

Qualifications

API design API scaling AWS database design Kubernetes NoSQL Python React SQL TypeScript

Requires 6-8+ years of experience in large-scale production systems with strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Python. Must have expertise in database schema design and the ability to work across the full stack in data-intensive domains.
