Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop mission-critical web applications supporting autonomous vehicle operations in real-time. The role involves working on frontend and backend infrastructure, ensuring system scalability, reliability, and high availability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including SREs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mission-critical full-stack systems for real-time collaboration between autonomous vehicles and human operators. Ensure the platform's global scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance in partnership with SRE teams.

Qualifications

Angular APIs backend development distributed systems frontend development reliability RxJS scalability TypeScript web applications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 4+ years of industry experience with web applications. Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS is required, with a preference for C++ and distributed systems experience.
