Job summary

The Monitor Technician is responsible for continuous ECG surveillance, recognizing and reporting dysrhythmias, troubleshooting monitor issues, and assisting with patient monitoring and documentation in a fast-paced healthcare environment, under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

The Monitor Technician provides continuous ECG surveillance to recognize and report dysrhythmias to Registered Nurses. They are responsible for documenting cardiac rhythms and troubleshooting technical monitor issues to ensure patient safety.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be willing to obtain BLS certification. One year of experience in a healthcare setting assisting with direct patient care is preferred.
