Job summary

The Nurse Educator provides consultation and education in a hospital setting, assesses learning needs, develops educational programs, updates clinical standards, and develops patient education materials to improve patient care and staff competencies. Requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, licensure in Ohio, and preferably some recent experience in nursing.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Educator assesses staff learning needs and develops educational programs to support clinical practice and patient care standards. They act as a leadership resource for clinical problem-solving and revise institutional policies to reflect current evidence-based practices.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and possess a current registered nurse license in the State of Ohio. A minimum of one year of recent experience in the area of specialization is preferred.
