Job summary

The Transient Aircraft Services Technician supports aircraft ground handling and servicing operations at an installation, including marshaling, parking, servicing, and supporting aircraft launch and recovery, ensuring safety, operational readiness, and compliance in a high-tempo, austere environment.

Responsibilities

The TAS Technician performs aircraft ground handling, marshaling, and servicing operations to support mission requirements. They ensure all activities comply with safety protocols, technical orders, and airfield standards in a 24/7 flight line environment.

Qualifications

Aircraft launch and recovery Aircraft marshaling Aircraft servicing Aircraft turnaround operations Equipment inspection Flight line safety Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention Ground handling procedures Tool control Use of ground support equipment

Candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance and possess 3-5 years of experience in aviation or aircraft maintenance. Hands-on experience with flight line operations and knowledge of ground handling procedures are required.
