Job summary

The Nurse Educator will coordinate educational programming, facilitate clinical activities, collaborate with educational institutions, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with certifications and ongoing education in a hospital Obstetrics team.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Educator coordinates and evaluates educational programming and manages both direct and indirect clinical activities for the Obstetrics team. They also serve as a liaison with community educational institutions and respond to internal and external disasters.

Qualifications

Adult education Certification in ACLS Certification in BLS Clinical activities Collaboration Communication Emergency response Lecture facilitation Nursing Patient education

Candidates must have a Master's degree in Nursing focused on adult education and at least 5 years of experience. A current Ohio RN license and BLS certification are required, with ACLS, PALS, and NRP instructor certifications to be obtained within six months.
