Job summary

A Structural/Bridges Engineer involved in designing civil engineering and infrastructure projects, managing project phases from inception to completion, producing designs, calculations, and documentation, and supporting sustainable infrastructure solutions within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering technically sound engineering solutions and managing projects from inception to completion. This includes preparing designs, calculations, and documentation while guiding junior staff and liaising with clients.

Qualifications

AutoCAD Bridges design Design calculations Eurocodes LUSAS Project management Risk assessment Stakeholder management Structural engineering Sustainability practices

Candidates should have experience in the structures field, ideally in an Assistant Engineer role or equivalent, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an appropriate subject. Proficiency in relevant software like LUSAS or Autodesk Structural Bridge Design and working toward professional status with the ICE or IStructE is required.
