Job summary

Registered Nurse providing bedside care in the emergency department with a focus on patient-centered approach, assessment, education, and safety, working night shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized, patient- and family-centered emergency nursing care, including assessment, care planning, treatment, education, medication administration, and discharge coordination. Collaborate with patients, families, and interprofessional teams to promote safety, use evidence-based practice, improve care quality, and support staff development.

Qualifications

ACLS Basic Life Support Cultural Awareness Discharge Planning Effective Communication Health Information Documentation Medication Administration Nursing Patient Assessment RN

An accredited nursing diploma and an active registered nurse license in the state of practice are required, along with BLS certification and one year of RN experience. ACLS, PALS, and CEN, CCRN, or ECCO completion are required; a BSN or appropriate advanced degree and acute-care RN experience are strongly preferred.
