Job summary

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supports medical staff in providing care to residents with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Responsible for assisting with daily living activities, documentation, and following care plans, especially during night shifts in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides supportive care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, and nutritional needs. They are also responsible for documenting resident progress, monitoring skin conditions, and reporting changes in health status to nursing staff.

Qualifications

Candidates must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing or a graduate of a state-approved program who can pass the competency exam within 120 days. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with current CPR/BLS certification and one year of long-term care experience.
