Job summary

Join Sanctuary as a Caretaker and perform grounds maintenance, cleaning, gutter cleaning, void cleaning, and landscape tasks focused on void properties. Responsibilities include grounds upkeep, cleaning communal areas, waste removal, and working with tenants. Experience in similar roles, good communication, health and safety knowledge, and a valid UK driving license are preferred.

Responsibilities

The caretaker will perform grounds maintenance, cleaning, and clearing of void properties to ensure they meet service standards. Responsibilities also include maintaining tools and equipment and completing all necessary documentation for tasks performed.

Qualifications

Candidates should have practical experience in caretaking or similar roles and be proficient in operating hand tools and light machinery. A full valid UK driving licence is required, and a British Institute Certificate in Cleaning Services (BICS) is considered advantageous.
