Job summary

The role involves providing technical leadership for the physical systems behind Capable’s drug-development platform, including design, integration, and validation of hardware such as automated peptide synthesis, fluid handling, and drug delivery systems. The engineer will own system architecture, troubleshoot complex problems, collaborate across disciplines, and establish engineering standards.

Responsibilities

You will own the system architecture and technical direction for laboratory-automation or drug-delivery hardware from requirements through validation. You will also design and integrate complex subsystems while resolving difficult engineering problems related to fluidics, mechanics, and controls.

The role requires a strong record of owning complex physical systems from ambiguous requirements through to tested hardware. Candidates should possess deep expertise in at least one relevant engineering discipline and the ability to lead cross-functional work.
