Job summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing the nursing process, providing direct and indirect patient care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, documenting care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations in a long-term acute care setting.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the shift coordination and oversight of the nursing process for assigned residents, providing both direct and indirect care according to established plans and regulations. Duties include functioning as a Medication/Treatment Nurse or Charge Nurse, directing LPNs and CNAs, and maintaining effective communication within the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree from a credentialed school of nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice. A minimum of one year of related nursing experience is required for this position.
