Job summary

The Process Engineering Intern supports manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Houston, TX specialty chemicals manufacturing facility. This role provides hands-on experience in a production environment by leading projects that improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, safety, product quality, and data-driven decision making. The intern will collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and EHS teams to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and deliver sustainable improvements that support plant performance and business objectives.

Responsibilities

The intern will support manufacturing, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety within the facility. They will lead cross-functional projects and analyze production data to drive sustainable improvements and support plant performance.

Qualifications

Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering with rising junior or senior standing. The role requires comfort working in a production or manufacturing environment.
