Job summary

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer for Elasticsearch's Analytical Engine team to develop new analytics capabilities, lead technical visions, and build the next-generation ES|QL features, leveraging extensive experience in data-intensive systems, search APIs, Java, and distributed architectures.

Responsibilities

You will define, lead, and contribute to the development of data-intensive enhancements for the Elasticsearch compute engine and ES|QL. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build strategic technical visions and providing guidance on complex software infrastructure.
