Job summary

Registered Nurse- ASC OR provides professional nursing care for surgical patients, performing circulating and scrub duties, maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and ensuring patient safety during procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered nursing care for surgical and endoscopic patients, including circulating and scrub duties, assisting with anesthesia induction, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting patient safety throughout procedures. Prepare and manage instruments, supplies, medications, specimens, equipment, and required documentation while maintaining the facility and following applicable policies.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing school and an Illinois Registered Nurse license are required; three to five years of comparable nursing experience is preferred. CPR certification under American Heart Association guidelines is required within 30 days of hire, and ACLS certification is required within six months.
