Job summary

The Health and Wellness Director (RN) oversees daily operations of the health department in a senior living community, ensuring compliance, managing staff, and delivering resident care.

Responsibilities

Oversee the health and wellness department, including resident assessments and care plans, regulatory compliance, staffing, budgeting, and hands-on nursing support. Monitor resident outcomes, coordinate ancillary services, communicate changes in residents’ conditions, and lead staff training and performance evaluation.

Qualifications

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current, good-standing New Jersey RN license. Candidates must have at least four years of supervisory experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or skilled care, along with computer proficiency and the ability to learn new applications.
