Job summary

Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in a hospital setting, collaborating with healthcare team members, utilizing clinical skills, and maintaining professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provides and coordinates professional nursing care, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation, while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Promotes patient safety and quality, educates patients and families, supports unit goals, and contributes through mentoring, delegation, and effective communication.

Qualifications

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, a Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, basic computer skills, and completion of specialty orientation and unit-specific competencies. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred; candidates must be able to organize and prioritize care and meet the stated physical demands.
