Job summary

The Compression Technician maintains and operates natural gas compression equipment, supporting safe and efficient performance through preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and reporting. The role requires extensive travel, technical knowledge in gas compression systems, electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting, and maintaining CMMS records.

Responsibilities

The Compression Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on CNG compression equipment, including commissioning and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. They are responsible for maintaining accurate maintenance reports in the CMMS and ensuring safe, consistent operation of company assets.

Qualifications

Automations CMMS Commissioning Electrical Troubleshooting Gas Compression Instrumentation Mechanical Skills PLC Troubleshooting Preventive Maintenance Troubleshooting

Candidates must have 3-5 years of field service experience with gas compressors and possess strong technical and organizational skills. A clean driving record and the ability to travel extensively within the Southern/Central US are required.
