Job summary

Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in a hospital setting, ensuring safety, effective communication, and collaboration with healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients while coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs and optimize outcomes. Promote quality and safety, educate patients and families, contribute to performance improvement, and support the care team through communication, delegation, teaching, and mentoring.

Qualifications

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, a Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification upon hire. Candidates must demonstrate current nursing knowledge, basic computer skills, ability to prioritize patient care, and completion of specialty orientation and unit-specific competencies; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
