Job summary

The RN will provide comprehensive mental health care at MHEC, including assessment, stabilization, and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults, in a fast-paced emergency hospital setting. The role requires licensure, BLS certification, and preferably experience in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive, safe, and therapeutic patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Lead efforts to ensure the safest patient environment and best experience across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

clinical decision making communication crisis intervention evidence-based practice mental health nursing patient care psychology safety protocols

Must have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a valid state Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
