Qualifications

APR-DRG clinical documentation data analysis interdisciplinary collaboration medical coding medical record review physician queries reimbursement methodologies training and education

Candidates must hold relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CDIP, or CCDS, or possess a strong clinical background as an RN, LVN, or BSN. A minimum of two to three years of experience in hospital-based coding or clinical practice is required.
