Job summary

Seeking a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer in Plymouth/Exeter to deliver structural designs, assessments, inspections, and project management for building and heavy civil projects, primarily in defense and commercial sectors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Structural Engineer will deliver structural engineering services for building and heavy civil projects, including performing analyses, calculations, and detailed designs. They will also supervise graduate engineers, direct technicians, and assist with the commercial and financial control of projects.

Qualifications

Analysis and Calculations AutoCAD Design Eurocode Standards Heavy civil structural engineering Seismically qualified structures Specifications Structural Engineering Supervision Technical report writing

Candidates must be chartered with the IStructE or ICE and hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A solid track record in structural projects, proficiency in software analysis, and the ability to obtain MOD security clearance are required.
